Momenteel heeft Joyería Nicols vijf winkels in Madrid, waar onze klanten ons brede assortiment producten kunnen vinden, van verlovingsringen en trouwringen tot kettingen, armbanden, oorbellen en nog veel meer. Bovendien zijn wij marktleider in online verkoop in Spanje en openen we internationale markten vanuit Miami.

De oorsprong Nicols Ambachtelijke Juweliers ontstaat in Madrid aan het begin van de 20e eeuw. In 1917 betreedt de eerste generatie van de familie de kunst van het goudsmeden. Don Vicente Nicolás senior begint te werken in de wereld van sieraden als vertegenwoordiger van verschillende internationale merken.

Het is met de volgende generatie, met zijn zoon Vicente Nicolás, dat het merk wordt gecreëerd. Na zijn opleiding aan de School voor Kunst en Ambachten, waar hij beeldhouwkunst, schilderkunst studeert en zijn techniek in sieradenontwerp perfectioneert, begint hij zich te betrekken bij het creëren van de collecties van het merk. Met zijn rusteloze geest en artistieke gevoeligheid baant de jonge man zich een weg in de wereld van de sieraden, en vestigt hij een merk met een sterke identiteit in de jaren 80.

De eerste Nicols-boetiek opent haar deuren in de Serrano-straat in 1978. Twee jaar later worden de winkels aan de Calle Goya op nummers 12 en 55 geopend, die tot op de dag van vandaag twee sterke pijlers van het merk blijven. Later voegt de familie Nicols de vestiging aan Serrano 86 toe, een boetiek die de ambachtelijke werkplaats en het hoofdkantoor integreert.

Vanaf het jaar 2000 nemen de kinderen van Vicente Nicolás het roer van het bedrijf over. Cinthya Nicolás, algemeen directeur van de Nicols Groep, heeft een diploma in Economische en Bedrijfskunde. Ze ontwikkelde haar professionele carrière als financieel directeur bij verschillende bedrijven voordat ze de inkoop- en financiële afdeling van het juweliersmerk onder haar hoede nam. Daarnaast geniet ze er enorm van om haar creatieve kant te ontwikkelen door nieuwe collecties voor het merk te ontwerpen. In deze jaren aan het hoofd van Nicols heeft Cinthya de perfecte combinatie van efficiëntie en goede smaak gebracht die het merk naar voortdurende groei heeft gestuwd. Daniel Nicolás is de vicevoorzitter van Nicols. Na zijn studie Bedrijfskunde aan de Universiteit van ICADE behaalde hij een master aan de Universiteit van Californië, gespecialiseerd in Marketing. Drie jaar lang werkte hij als beleggingsadviseur bij Deutsche Bank en verhuisde daarna naar San Diego (Californië), waar hij leiding gaf aan een technologiebedrijf. In 2006 keerde hij terug naar Spanje om zich bij het familiebedrijf aan te sluiten, waarbij hij zijn werk combineerde met studies in gemmologie en certificeringen in diamanten, parels en edelstenen behaalde. Beide leden van de derde generatie stimuleerden in 2007 de opening van de boetiek aan de Calle José Ortega y Gasset 11 in Madrid. Een ruimte gelegen in het hart van de Gouden Mijl, omringd door de beste internationale luxemerken.

Nicols ambachtsjuweliers Madrid 1917 heeft altijd een jonge geest behouden en streeft ernaar naar haar klanten te luisteren, zich voortdurend te verbeteren en de beste prijs-kwaliteitverhouding en service te bieden, wat het merk door haar geschiedenis heen altijd heeft gekenmerkt en haar blijft toestaan de Spaanse luxejuweliersmarkt te leiden terwijl het het verschil maakt.

In 2013 lanceerde het bedrijf zijn website www.nicols.es, aanvankelijk bedoeld als een online catalogus van beschikbare producten voor verkoop, maar die snel uitgroeide tot een van de belangrijkste juwelierswebsites van Spanje, met meer dan 4.000 beschikbare artikelen.

In 2015 lanceerde Nicols Nicols TV, een online kanaal dat informatie biedt, talkshows, unboxing van producten en actualiteiten uit de horlogewereld, en ook het YouTube-kanaal van Joyería Nicols, waar je kunt genieten van de nieuwste juwelen.

In 2017 vernieuwde de vlaggenschipboetiek van het merk aan de prestigieuze Serrano-straat nummer 86 haar imago en breidde haar faciliteiten uit, waardoor een unieke ruimte ontstond om VIP-klanten te ontvangen en een kleine tentoonstelling van edelstenen, oude gereedschappen en historische elementen uit de juwelierswerkplaats.

Eind 2019 opende de familie Nicols een nieuwe vlaggenschipwinkel die exclusief gewijd is aan sieraden, gelegen aan de Goya 17 straat, wat een zeer persoonlijke inzet van de familie vertegenwoordigt, waarin hun liefde voor sieraden en het geloof in het "savoir faire" van hun stukken hen ertoe bracht een winkel te creëren die alleen aan deze gewijd is.

In 2020, met de uitbreiding van een van zijn meest gevestigde boetieks in Madrid, de winkel aan de Calle Goya 55, werd een grote investering gedaan om het merkimago van Nicols Joyeros Artesanos Madrid 1917 in al zijn verkooppunten te uniformeren en zich voor te bereiden op de internationale doorbraak.

Het verhaal van Nicols zal zich voortzetten met haar internationale uitbreiding die begon met de website en Nicols in staat zal stellen deel uit te maken van de mooiste momenten in het leven van miljoenen mensen over de hele wereld.

Nicols is een referentie in de Spaanse en internationale sieradenwereld. Het is bekroond met talrijke prijzen, waaronder de Vogue Jewelry Award voor de Beste Collectie. Verschillende beroemdheden zoals Lady Gaga, Paula Echeverría, Paulina Rubio, Inés Sastre, Blanca Suárez en Eugenia Silva, onder anderen, hebben haar sieraden gedragen.
