In the words of the Swiss brand ORIS_It is a joy to present the limited edition Hank Aaron, which is named in honor of the great philanthropist and baseball player and Hall of Famer Hank Aaron. Aaron never chased the limelight, but his achievements on and off the court always earned him it. In 1974, he broke Babe Ruth's home run record, which stood for almost 40 years. Despite his successes and the admiration he aroused, Hank was always known for his courtesy and humility.
The watch is based on the Big Crown Pointer Date.
We've added blue, red and white details reminiscent of Hank Aaron's uniform, and it's finished with a blue leather strap with baseball glove stitching.
It also exists with the blue, red and white NATO strap. We are manufacturing 2,297 copies, one for each of his RBI (runs batted in), a record that still stands in Major League Baseball.
