In 1978 the Nicols Joyeros Madrid 1917 group opened its first jewelry store on Serrano Street in the heart of the Salamanca neighborhood. Years later, the Spanish jeweler family Nicols incorporated artisan jewelry workshops, the jewelry design studio, and the headquarters into the Serrano 86 store, integrating most of the value chain of jewelry creation, making Nicols one of the few 100% Spanish jewelers that defend jewelry design and creation in Madrid and Spain. More than 40 years later, Nicols is one of the few jewelers in the world that integrates the entire jewelry production chain from the mine to the heart. With the incorporation of the third generation of Nicols jewelers, the Spanish firm integrated the purchase of jewelry at the mines, and a unique shopping experience where, for example, customers are taught to engrave their own wedding bands.
Since its opening, our Serrano jewelry store has become one of the most emblematic and recognized jewelry stores on Serrano Street in Madrid, the commercial axis of Madrid’s Golden Mile. Thanks to its designs, personalization, and excellent quality-to-price ratio of its jewelry, but above all thanks to the tireless work to improve every day and be present in the lives of our customers.
In the last forty years, the Nicols Serrano jewelry store has become the trusted jeweler for tens of thousands of customers worldwide to commemorate, with jewelry handcrafted in Madrid, the most beautiful moments of their lives: engagements, weddings, anniversaries, births, baptisms, communions, graduations, retirements… Today, the Nicols jewelry workshops not only dedicate themselves to jewelry creation but also restore, repair, or create new jewelry from family heirlooms that are broken or no longer suit current tastes. For Nicols, the customer has always been and is the king; listening to them, understanding their needs, and creating jewelry that fits their personality and lifestyle is the most important thing. Therefore, and to adapt to the customer’s needs and lifestyle 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in 2013 we launched the Nicols e-boutique or online jewelry store from our Serrano store. An online store that has helped reach millions of people worldwide with the help of our YouTube channel Nicols TV.
